WebThe Rah Band was a British electronic soul/funk/disco studio group formed by conductor, arranger, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Richard Hewson in the mid-1970's. The Rah Band took its name from Hewson's initials. The group scored a Top 10 hit in 1977 with the groovy instrumental "The Crunch," which peaked at #6 on the UK singles chart.
