Make sure to have at least 3 marine frigate as taking the shipyard back takes a while. I would build the max of 4 marine frigate and use them all to take back the shipyard. #5 WebThe HW2 race scouts usually take 2 whole squads to kill a HW1 Resource collector. With a perfect hit from all 3 ships, it only takes 1 squad of scouts from HW2 ships to kill an RC. Unfortunately, the squad AI in Homeworld 2 ships seems to seriously interfere with their ability to accurately hit with Kamikaze attacks.
